Welcome to the new look secfen website for 2009. Hopefully the site is more easy to navigate, more informative - with the inclusion of the Products Data sheet section and a series of new photo's in our Photo Gallery.

To try and keep the site more interesting and informative, a new 'World of Fencing' section has been added to the site. This section will bring to light some information on the more famous (or in many cases infamous !) fences of the world, and articles about the different & sometimes weird and wonderful types of fencing I've managed to track down on the Internet. You'll be surprised what's out there !.

Overall, the site has a more clean and modern feel to it. Just now the site is written in HTML and CSS so it should run on just about any desktop PC out there!

Currently the data sheets will be kept as pure HTML so that any browser will hopefully be able to read them. The data sheets may be provided in an alternative format at a later date.

Have added some new images to the 'Photo Galery' and the 'Repairs' section.

New images include pictures of a fire door claded in sheet steel, new gate images showing a very wide entrance gate and a palisade gate supported on rising hinges. Also there are new images in the 'Chainlink' and 'Vertical Bar' sections.

A new search facility has been added. Make sure that the browser has javascript and cookies enabled and that any script blocking programs on the browser as altered to allow the search script to function. The cookies which are generated are non-persistant (this means they expire as soon as the current web browser session ends) and only hold the search words or phrase entered by the user.

The search works in a similar way to other search engines. A minus character preceeding the search word excludes the word from the search and double quotes specify a phrase to be searched.
